The Church of the Incarnation is an Episcopal church in Dallas, Texas. The problem we were tasked with creating a video introducing the concept of two different worship services, targeted at two somewhat different types of worshippers, while also introducing the newly constructed wing of the church. The solution was a video shot over a few weeks to gently contrast and compare the two offerings while reinforcing the fact that they both happen under the safe roof, for the same congregation. The video was very successful, with the unexpected result of an article being written up about Trent Robertson in the resulting in the Church magazine.

A video is all about storytelling. Music, motion, sound, design, lighting, timing, and imagery each play a vital role. The end result of a video is often to change the behavior of the viewer. In the case of this video, it was to reinforce the community spirit within the church to hopefully draw visitors.
This video had to perfectly match the long enduring profile of the Episcopal Church while also offering more contemporary church activities, such as a less formal, more relaxed worship experience with live music during mass.
The video had to meet rigorous. brand guidelines to match all aspects of the Church of the Incarnation experience.
Edited on Adobe Premiere, with special effects in After Effects. Other applications used were Audition, Photoshop, Lightroom, with special effects plugins such as Red giant, Trapcode, and others.
